چین آج رات اپنے خلائی اسٹیشن پر تین خلاباز پورے ایک سال کی مدت کے لیے بھیجے گا اور یہ چین کے خلائی مشنز کا سب سے لمبے عرصے کا مشن ہو گا۔ خلا بازوں کو اتنے لمبے عرصے کے لیے خلا میں بھیجنے کا چین کا مقصد یہ جاننا ہے کہ انسانی جسم کتنے عرصے کے لیے خلا میں اپنے آپ کو فعال اور تندرست رکھ سکتا ہے۔ اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ چین 2030 تک خلابازوں یعنی انسانوں کو چاند پر بھیجنے کا پلان رکھتا ہے۔ اس سے پہلے چین نے صرف روبوٹ ہی چاند پر بھیجے ہیں۔ چین کو ایک اعزاز حاصل ہے کہ اس نے دنیا میں سب سے پہلے روبوٹ چاند کے تاریک حصے پر اتارے تھے جنہوں نے وہاں کے کچھ مٹی کے نمونے اکٹھے کر کے زمین پر لائے تھے۔2035 تک چین چاند پر ایک مستقل اسٹیشن بنانے کا ارادہ بھی رکھتا ہے۔جس سے سیارہ مریخ کی ایکسپلوریشن آسان ہو جائے گی۔ دوسری جانب ناسا نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ وہ 2028 تک چاند پر خلاباز بھیجے گا۔ ایلون مسک کا spaceX بھی اس ریس میں شامل ہے۔ چین مختصر مدت کے ایک خلائی مشن کے لیے دو پاکستانی خلابازوں کو بھی ٹریننگ دے رہا ہے۔
China will send three astronauts to its space station tonight for a full one-year duration, and this will be the longest mission of China’s space missions. China’s purpose of sending astronauts into space for such a long period is to know how long the human body can keep itself active and healthy in space. The reason for this is that China plans to send astronauts, i.e., humans, to the Moon by 2030. Previously, China has only sent robots to the Moon. China has the distinction of being the first in the world to land robots on the dark side of the Moon, which collected some soil samples there and brought them back to Earth. China also intends to establish a permanent station on the Moon by 2035, which will make the exploration of planet Mars easier. On the other hand, NASA has announced that it will send astronauts to the Moon by 2028. Elon Musk's SpaceX is also part of this race. China is also training two Pakistani astronauts for a short-term space mission.
