خبر رساں ادارے 'رائیٹرز' کی ایک ریپورٹ کے مطابق 27 ممالک نے ایران جنگ سے پڑنے والے ان کی معیشتوں پر اثرات کی وجہ سے عالمی بنک سے مدد کے لیے رابطہ کیا ہے۔ تاہم عالمی بنک نے اس معاملے پر تبصرہ کرنے سے گریز کیا ہے اور رجوع کرنے والے ممالک کے نام بھی ظاہر نہیں کیے۔ کینیا اور عراقی حکام نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ وہ جنگ کے نتائج سے نمٹنے کے لیے عالمی بینک سے فوری مالی مدد کے خواہاں ہیں، جس میں کینیا میں ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں ہوشربا اضافہ اور عراق کی تیل کی آمدنی میں بڑے پیمانے پر کمی شامل ہے۔
According to a report by the news agency 'Reuters' 27 countries have contacted the World Bank for assistance due to the impact of the war with Iran on their economies. However, the World Bank has refrained from commenting on the matter and has not disclosed the names of the countries that approached it. Kenyan and Iraqi officials have confirmed that they are seeking immediate financial assistance from the World Bank to cope with the consequences of the war, including a staggering increase in fuel prices in Kenya and a significant drop in Iraq's oil revenue.
