وزیر اعظم سٹارمر کہتے ہیں کہ وہ امریکہ-اسرائیل کی ایران کے ساتھ جنگ کے حوالے سے ٹرمپ کے دباؤ کے سامنے نہیں جھکیں گے۔ جب ان سے ایک سابق نیٹو سیکریٹری جنرل کی وارننگز کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا کہ حکومت نے دفاع کے معاملے میں زہریلی لاتعلقی دکھائی ہے۔ سٹارمر کہتے ہیں کہ وہ ان تبصروں سے متفق نہیں ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ان کا کام برطانوی عوام کو محفوظ رکھنا ہے اور یہ کہ میری حکومت نے دفاعی کوٹے میں پہلے سے اضافہ کیا ہے۔
Prime Minister Starmer says that he will not bow to Trump's pressure regarding a US-Israel war with Iran. When asked about warnings from a former NATO Secretary General that the government has shown toxic indifference in defense matters, Starmer says that he does not agree with these comments and states that his duty is to keep the British people safe and that his government has increased the defense quota as compared to former governments.
